Two anonymous hymn tunes from John Daye's "Whole Booke of Psalmes collected into Englishe metre" from 1574 and 1584. The texts were written by Thomas Sternhold, W. Whitingham, John Hopkins and/or others.
The tunes for Psalm 84 changed between publications of the collection. In 1574, the suggested tune was associated with Psalm 78, but in 1584 it was changed to Psalm 77.
This version has an extended setting using the Psalm 78 tune and a simple harmonization for the Psalm 77.
